Innovation versus..

Technology changes so fast, it grows faster than us, when do you think will they run out of ideas and innovations?

When will fast and vast progress of technology stop?

Did people back then ever thought our technology would be this great? Did they thought it is possible?

Well maybe not, most people never really thinks of the future and the long run. Almost all thought that electricity is the greatest invention already and no one could surpass that. But they were wrong.

Maybe us too, we never think of what will happen in the future. There could be teleporters in the future, flying cars, human robots, etc..

We can never stop technology from evolving but is it healthy for our lifestyle, environment, etc.?

For every new innovation, a different innovation is abandoned. Isn't that a waste? A new thing invented then abandoned immediately. Waste of raw materials and because of vast production of these gadget innovations the environment isn't taken for consideration, maybe this is the payment for all of this in the future. The overuse of the environment.

A good thing for us don't mean its a good thing for all...

How gender fights

I really like seeing girls fighting, they scream, talk and talk and talk and talk..

They never stop talking when fighting, it seems that the talking part is where they really hurt so much?

Its very funny how they fight, they feel they'll win when their enemy cannot speak anymore-chokes after a series of words has been thrown.

When guys fight, a little bit of talking and then someone would throw a punch, and then outbreak. That's where the hurting happens, but to girl fights, I think it is when they start talking and screaming at each other.

Another is, girls really don't fight with guys, I mean their enemies are mostly girls too. As to what I know and notice, alright?

Girls after the fight don't stop talking, they try to win peoples side by speaking to them and saying how they should be on her side. She back stabs her enemy and say such things that would make the people around her hate her enemy too.

Well if you think about it, it is quite clever to do so. Girls know that they can win as long as they are more many than their enemies. We guys should do that more often, I'm not saying we should just talk and talk, but we should know our limits and don't engage in a fight where we will surely lose. Most guys have a high pride, and wouldn't seek help of the many. He believes he can take them all and can win it by himself, to guys who think like that are foolish. Pride cannot help you win fights, it will just bring you down.

Maybe girls have petty fights, but I think that is better because no violence are happening when girls fight. However, with guys some fights lead to killing and accidents.

Looks at me..

Ever wondered why people on TV are so good looking? Is it a rule that to be on TV you should look good?

Maybe not all, but 95% are good looking right? Why?

Seeing my classmate recite in front of the class made me think. If she was a little bit prettier many would have listened and focused on her, however she wasn't the prettiest in class so not all were listening, not all were focused.

This made me think that for people to actually listen to a person he/she should be good looking. Its like a magnet of attention, that makes most people focus on you and what you are saying.

Well credible speakers and interested audience is an exception to this theory. Because for us to listen to a person its either we are interested to what he/she is saying or we just want to look good and listen to him/her. Who would want to look good or impress a girl/guy you don't like? right?

Our focus is reserved for people we like only and to things we are interested in.

So maybe that's why people on TV should look great always, so people focus on them while they're speaking, acting, etc.

They become more influential because of their looks, and meaningful statements or topics they say are only extra to people who listen to them.

Even if a person who is good looking, is very stupid we still listen to them and focus on them more.

For example, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, etc. If they weren't that good looking will we follow each footstep they make everyday? Would we waste our time actually reading stuff about them? Would they be so famous if they weren't good looking?

You will be famous as ever and people will listen to you, even if you really aren't talented enough and/or you're somewhat stupid, as long as they are crazy about your looks.

So if we aren't gifted of good looks, it is like a minus for us in many aspects of life. Not only in people's attention but in many other instances too.

Peace is possible without

I am really amazed how inventors and innovators invent different things that we use today, such as car, telephone, cellphone, TV, etc.. But I want to focus on firearms/guns.

It really makes me curious what is the main and first reason why is a firearm made or invented. Did they intentionally make it for killing someone? Or maybe for hunting only? We never know other reasons may have influenced them on creating such instrument.

One good reason maybe is to protect them from the wild and from their enemies. So to protect themselves they are risking to kill someone, i think?

Through time what have become of the firearm? It evolved every now and then to a much deadly and dangerous instruments. So where do people usually use it? We all know that it is rampant when wars arise.

Ironically people nowadays want peace, they want to stop wars and other violent acts such as killing. But people doesn't want to give-up having a gun, right? They still see it as a useful instrument or they want it just to show it off. However, can't you see? to stop wars and other violent acts you should get rid of the instrument that is used for the said actions. As the line in the song Kaleidoscope World says, "you can't talk peace and have a gun". Very true, its the main reason why we can easily kill another person causing only little guilt. Because using a gun as a weapon, a person attacked can die instantly so you won't feel his agony or see him suffer, unlike when you'll stab him, he still can fight back and move then easily go down in pain and see the person slowly die. Most of all you can feel the blade piercing through the persons flesh, isn't that more morbid and it can really affect you more than shooting him from a far range?

Firearms are so deadly that even a kid can kill with it. Even with so much control on the firearms market, it can still be bought easily through illegal dealers. That's why terrorists have the guts to fight back.

So who do you think is worst the dealer who knows that the guns would be used for intentional chaos or the terrorists who make the chaos? Yeah I know both are bad but who is worst, what do you think?

Some people say that guns are only instruments, they wouldn't kill if no one tries to use it to kill. But lets see it in a different view, if there are no guns and this person has the urge to create chaos and kill other people what do you think he would do? Get a knife? bat? etc.. If the main instrument isn't available chaos created by such people is less likely dangerous than with guns in their hands. Right? So the argument that its not the guns fault, its the user's is for me not applicable or not true. Remove the instrument needed for the action and the action cannot be done.

Why do we study? Why do we need to waste our time in school and study all of the subjects that our curriculum provide? Is it for knowledge? what do you think?

Well yes, partly for knowledge and character building but what do you think is the most important thing that's keeping us going to school?

Most of you know already but to whom that do not know, our diplomas. The most important of all papers.

This piece of paper dictates our life, we can get good jobs which means good life or a bad job because of this piece of paper. We dedicate almost half of our life for this one paper. Without this life would be hard and difficult.

Our lives mostly depend on this paper, maybe 40-50% is for the paper and the others are for family, friends, faith, character, skills, etc. Even if you have all of that it isn't an assurance of a good future without a diploma. Maybe 1 out of 15 would have a good life without a diploma but are you that 1? will you risk all to just belive you are that 1? For me no, its such a big risk to change if didn't go my way. right?

Well that's why even if you really didn't study in universities, colleges, or schools as long as you can produce and show a diploma possibly you'll get something good. Even if its fake, however, if you're caught? goodbye good life...

Yeah the saying, "money makes the world go round" is partly true but to get such money you have to have many things, and one thing there is definitely a diploma. However, many would say that there are many rich men/women that didn't finish college, all I can say is that goodluck and such talent are with them. So by having them as an example you wouldn't finish college too? Do you have such talent and skills that's worth millions? If not, I prefer just study and get that piece of paper and start a good life.

Diploma is a necessity today, without it most probably life would be very hard.

All comes to this..

Do you like living? Are you ready to die?

I think all of us or most of us don't think about dying and the realities of living. We only focus on our daily lives that we don't see what comes in the future. Well, we know that all our lives would go to only one way, the way towards death. Its like our last event on earth. Right? lol..

So what do you think is the best way to die?

Most of us would say, the fast and painless death. right? who wants to suffer?
That's why I really look up to people who live their lives with such illnesses that really makes them suffer. Because they can take all the pain and live just for the sake of living.

So speaking of fast and painless death.. What kinds of death are those?

Get shot, explode, fall from a building, poison, etc... woah.. all morbid deaths.. but the most painless deaths though. lol!

The irony is that nobody would want to die like that, however, if you ask them what kind of death they want they'll probably say the fast and painless ones. Ironic isn't it?

Well lets go to ridiculous deaths, stupid ones and unexpectables.

Here are the ones I know and that's true;
A driver of a train gets a diarrhea while in the train, so what does he do? He tries to poop outside of the train, how? He put his butt outside the window then the morbid part came... He fell out of the train, and accidentally got hit by a different train. If you think about it, its very funny though were talking about a man dying. Ridiculous isn't it? So the train company immediately implemented cubicles in the train after the incident. Poor guy..If they just thought of that earlier he would have been alive until now.

Another is couples from US I think.. Because of sexual urge they tried different stuff to satisfy their urge. So one night, again they felt the urge but now they want it to be more exciting. What can be more exciting than doing it on a roof? and from a building/house I think, that is closed. So they thought of that, they sneak in and went to the roof. While doing their thing, they accidentally slipped and fell from the roof to the ground, and they both died. Saw their picture at the site, both still young. See! what sexual urge does to us? lol!..

This ones hilarious too, in a factory there are many machines, electrical cords, electronics, etc. obviously right? Well there are workers too of course. So one busy work day, a worker felt lazy going to the restroom so he just went to a corner and pissed there. Guess what happened?...

He accidentally pissed on an electric wire which is live and doesn't have coating, so he got electrified. Too bad.. a pretty dumb thing to do in a factory or workplace.

Here's one that happened in my current school, well this happened before I studied there. It was a concert or an event for the teachers/professors so all was having fun. Then its time for this teacher to sing on stage, so he goes at the middle of the stage and started singing... suddenly he falls to the floor, some thought it was part of the act, some thought it was nothing. But bad news came about to all, the teacher had his nerve or something blew, he had an internal bleeding. The teacher was dead on arrival I think. All became quiet and stopped the event, a very unexpected death from a crowd that is very happy. Killjoy? I don't think so, hehe.. That really made all sad my prof said.

And many more...

Such serious events in life but can really get a random person to laugh about it.

Sweeter when?

Valentines day, it had been the day of hearts, the day where couples treat each other like its Christmas, people become very mushy and sweet.. etc..

So before that, what was Valentines day?

As to what I know, Valentines Day 100years - thousands of years before valentines was the day where males and females come to a party or a get together. Then they pair themselves with each other, one guy one girl.. then sex it up. They do this once a year, don't you envy them? You can easily grab a girl as long as no one else wants that girl and then do it with her without any questions asked.

Well that's what I remember, aryt? It may be not as accurate as to what you can find in other references but more so I think that really happened.

Why did it stopped?

Well we all know morally speaking and in religious beliefs that event is not acceptable, so they tried to stop the event, however it isn't that easy to do so. After lots of tries stopping the said event, they come-up with an idea where they can adapt that event but change it a bit. So they made it valentines day where males and females still meet however, they are not sexing it up unlike the previous event.

So there through time it became a couples day or a love day...

Well if you can remember I said that this is the time where couples treat each other like in Christmas time, if you can notice Valentines day had become a gift giving day too. Its like an extension of Christmas but to couples and lovers only, well family giving also occur but it is not a obligation to give gifts to family members at Valentines day, right?

To others they see this as an opportunity to say what they are feeling to someone, some to just live the day more special than an ordinary day, some feel obligated to give gifts, some would want to give gifts and expect to receive one, etc.

Christmas and Valentines are almost the same, however, Christmas is a season and Valentines lasts only a day... So what do you think is better for couples? I mean what is more important? If you were given two choices, would you prefer to be with your partner on Christmas or Valentines? People say that the atmosphere of the Christmas season is great and very sweet, it would really make your time with him/her special. But can Valentines surpass the atmosphere of Christmas for couples?

What do you think?

Lets change it

My earlier course in college was industrial management engineering.. and now im currently enrolled in marketing management. So if you can see my courses are mostly math based, well not in marketing, but it has math subjects too.

So where are am i going here?

Math has lots of numbers, equations, symbols, etc.. The character that most interests me is the letters or symbols that have a equivalent digits. why?

How the hell did they come-up with such equivalent numbers for letters or symbols? Is it that accurate? Is it compatible for any equation needed?

You know what! This is what i thought, maybe we can also create our own math symbols or letters that has a equivalent number/s, right?

lol! I want F = 4 and we should use that when we need to add 3 objects with only one on hand. hahaha.. thats really stupid! lol.. or we can change the existing symbols' and letters' equivalents to much more easier integers. Maybe 1 or 2 or 3 or one-half, etc. Just to make math easier! haha..

well here's another one, in temperature we have Celsius, Fahrenheit, etc.
Why don't we create our own kind of temperature, i can call it marvin then to convert it to Celsius you just need to add 2, then for Fahrenheit you need to add 4 and divide by 3. And to other easy conversions to other kinds of measurements of temperatures. So highschool students won't have a hard time converting temperatures to other measurements of temperatures. lol..

If those are really possibe, it will really make science and math a little bit of easier somehow.

Familiarity ticket

The sense of familiarity becomes our ticket to security, safety, knowledge, good relationship, etc..

As to what I said in my post named "Safe Zones" ( http://brainloops.blogspot.com/2007/12/safe-zone_27.html ) to be familiar is to be somewhat secure.

When we don't know someone or we are in a new place we don't feel secure and we are cautious. However, when we are friends with him/her or we went to a place where we go always, we don't feel the sense of danger or we have no worries when we are with them or in that place.

Same to safety, when we are familiar to our surroundings we are safer. For example, scenario 1: Lights are turned off you're in your room you roam around.
scenario 2: Lights turned off you're in another person's room, where it was your first time there.

Which of the two will most likely get you to an accident? Obviously the second scenario right? Familiarity brings the extra edge to all we do.

In school and studies, familiarity gives us an advantage too. First lesson for the subject but you know a brief knowledge about it so when the teacher discusses it most likely you'll understand the lesson easier than the students that don't know anything about the subjects.

Lovelife, to girls; who would you choose?
first guy; handsome, smart, gentleman, your longtime friend
second guy; handsome, smart, gentleman, you just met him this past few days

Maybe almost all girls would choose the first guy, i think, right?

Familiarity is our ticket to advantages to almost all things.

New Year Rituals

Every night of December 31 we celebrate and prepare for the New Year's celebration, we prepare food, fireworks, be with our loved ones (if possible), etc. Then when all is good, we wait for midnight to welcome the new year with a bang.

Every person has his/her own ritual when welcoming the new year.

Heres what I know:
The most common, you jump for a couple of times when the time hits 12midnight so through the year you'll get taller.

Another is moneywise, you put coins in your pocket then shake your pocket when midnight comes so you'll get more money this year.

Wearing polkadotted shirt, shorts, underwear, shoes, etc. would bring luck to your year.

Fireworks have been a great ritual in welcoming the new year ever since, but what does it imply? My sister said, this ritual would remove bad luck in your year.
True or not, fireworks still works for me. A great view to see, and brings the new year atmosphere.

So what do you think? Does this rituals really affect our year? our life?

Do luck control our fate?

Well me, Its not bad to believe, however, we should know our limitations. We should only believe to be inspired and do better for the new year and leave the past year as that. Moving on is the best way to be in, I guess? lol..

Happy New Year to all! Cheers to 2008!
