I can really feel summer now, the heat? its so effin stressing. Here in the Philippines, temperature reaches 30-32 Celsius I guess. Not sure, though I'm sure that it is hella hot here. Fans aren't good enough, even at home heat penetrates badly. Summer is cool and fun, though I can't bear the heat.
Aside from summer heat, do sun rays really harm us? I mean, does it cause illnesses, specifically skin cancer? If so, can sun block protect us from such disease? Is sun block that effective that they can prevent us from burning even standing under the sun for 1-2 hrs?
Summer etceteras...
I feel summer when...
I smell the fragrance of sun block Summer heat can be felt You have to wear shades because the sun is so bright People wear shorter clothes Longer day than night Holy Week School is out I sweat almost all the time Its boring at home Basketball leagues are happening and more...
All is talking about the climate change that is happening on earth. Is it that big of a problem? Would we likely suffer that much because of climate change? Well maybe some species would definitely suffer but didn't earth did that thousands-millions of years ago? When Ice age came?
Many animals, insects, human, etc. died and didn't survive such wrath of earth. Though after all that, where are we? Still on earth right? I just want to share my thought in this, I'm not saying that we don't need to support environment programs to prevent climate change/global warming. I just want to know what is its difference from the previous ice age, that destroyed and killed numerous lives.
This day, on 8pm-9pm we are encouraged to turn off our lights in accordance to the WWF program to stop drastic climate changes. By turning off all our lights by that time, that will be synchronized to all countries in Europe, America, and Asia. If all joined, three continents' lights are turned off all at the same time for one hour.
Will this work? Just one hour of our lifetime? Well, one thing is sure, electricity bill would go down by one hour of less light used.
And why won't you join? What's to lose, right?
So, all of us, turn our lights off all at the same time at 8pm-9pm, to at least say we did something for the environment.
MANILA (AFP) - The Philippines will get its own edition of Playboy magazine -- only without the nudity that made the US version famous, the editor-in-chief of the local edition said Thursday.
The Philippine edition will be launched on April 2 as a "mature lifestyle magazine", said veteran journalist Beting Laygo Dolor.
While the magazine will offer pictorials of beautiful women, it will not include nudity. "It will be tamer than the US edition but not as tame as the Indonesian edition," Lagyo Dolor said in a television interview.
He said it would be aimed at a more mature, affluent readership than "lad magazines" such as FHM and Maxim which already have Philippine editions.
It will be the 25th international edition of the US-based magazine which was launched more than 50 years ago.
The local edition will have serious articles and fiction by some of the country's best-known writers but will also include such staples as a "playmate of the month", Lagyo Dolor said
Movies and publications showing nudity have run into strong opposition in the conservative, largely Roman Catholic Philippines with watchdog groups sometimes filing criminal charges against those who distribute such materials.
Woah! Playboy Philippines? Quite a good concept, bringing the most famous magazine that made a man hella rich, which is Hugh Hefner. I really envy him, he is the rockstar of all time, the godfather, the luckiest man alive! Well to those who knows him, explanation isn't needed though guys only envy him. He gets all the beautiful girls and becomes his girlfriend, and more so he gets rich by doing that. The dream job of all guys in the world! lol!
Getting laid, and getting paid.
Sorry for some words and thoughts if you find it offensive.
More to the magazine, having that won't really change a lot but for sure many moralists and the like would oppose such magazine. Though I feel this would be a hit and would definitely push through. Filipino female actresses as Playboy playmates? That would be hot! lol! I know this magazine is no different from FHM, Maxim, and Uno magazines but the fact that Playboy's fame, identity and popularity is no compare to those three magazines it will be much controversial and talked about than the others.
Of course this would definitely help decrease pollution, however, in doing polluting a sin in the Catholic community would mean we are all sinners. Well of course we are, though that particular sin would add up to our pile of sins, and I assure all of us did it not once or twice only, a lot of times!
It is a great response to the ever growing pollution on earth. Global warming, environment calamities, glacier melting, etc. are effects of pollution that we cannot in any lifetime benefit from.
But do you really think all these problems about our environment and stuff is caused by pollution? I mean, yes we abuse but does this mean earth would destroy itself? Did God ever made our world in such a manner that it responses to people and in such time, it will run out of patience and will kill us all? lol!
Its such a scary thing to think of, though very fun to criticize. The fact that earth hits back when it becomes so pissed with our abuses and ignorance. If that is really true then I think we should hail earth as our god. Right? To do such thing to us can really tame us people, and behave ourselves if we experience such calamities.
LONDON (Reuters) - A cash machine became a big hit this week after it started paying out twice as much money as it should.
The ATM, outside a supermarket in Hull, began spewing out double the money on Tuesday afternoon and continued doing so for several hours, drawing a crowd of hundreds eager to cash in on the mistake.
Those requesting the maximum daily withdrawal of 300 pounds were being given 600 pounds and a receipt for 300.
"People were calling their mates up and telling them to get down there," the Hull Daily Mail quoted a passer-by as saying.
After several hours the machine finally ran out of money.
Payzone, a company that administers ATMs, would not comment in detail on the incident but said it appeared one of its machines had malfunctioned.
Police said those who had benefited could face charges but only if the operator complained.
(Reporting by Luke Baker; Editing by Ibon Villelabeitia)
My thoughts:
Woah! That's heaven! lol! Your money is doubled for doing nothing, awesome! Though it is kind of immoral to do so, but hell! Would you let that chance pass?
However, if the operator goes through on complaining and putting charges to the ATM's abusers that will suck big time. Envy them by now, but if that happens pity them then. lol!
What a luck to find an oppurtunity like that, but the chance of having that is one in a million so why let it pass if the oppurtunity is right there in front of you already? lol! Or let's say you are the first to know the malfunction of the ATM, would you share it with all the people? or Would you bring the excess back?
Maybe the sharing of the blessing is quite smart, because if he/she was caught abusing the malfunction by him/herself only, charges would be easy and there would be no problems in doing so. But if they were many abusers, the operator of the ATM might think twice in trying to charge a lot of people because of their mistake. Well, less greed will really help in being successful in taking advantage of the mistake of operator.lol!
This is the Links Around The World Tag. Instruction:
1. Place your link after the list. If you have more than 1 blog, feel free to add them all here!
2. After placing your blog’s address/es, you must tag 5 or more bloggers that is not yet in the list, this is to keep the ball rolling.
3. Here is the best part: Make sure to update your list every now and then, by getting the master list here. I’ll be updating the master list every day, or as soon as I see a new blog that’s been added to the list.
In the blogging world, we bloggers and site managers rely on visitors. They are the main focus of all we do, we are here to satisfy ourselves as well as theirs, without them our blog will be just a secret. I write, I read blog...
So how do we try to make frequent visitors and more visitors? Well, I am not saying all I'll say is correct because my site itself have so little visitors per day though I feel I know what we need to have that visitors galore.
I'll share what I know, from other bloggers, from my opinions and the like.
-Content -Fame of the author(an advantage if you are somewhat famous) -Fame of the blog(from advertisements, promotion, etc.) -Look of the blog
All of those are difficult to do, and all of those are visitor generator. But I'll focus on content for now.
Content, it is the heart of the blog, without it your blog is empty. As if going in a house with no roof, so why stay there right? It is the main reasons why people visited your blog because of your blog's content. In whatever reason they stumbled in your website, it is basically because of the content you provide to your visitors. Let's just say, if you are the visitor, you'll probably scan the blog for 2mins at most and if you didn't find any post that interests you in particular, you will not visit that blog again more so you will not remember it. Your blog's content is very crucial to you readers, it controls your visitor flow. It is the one that makes visitors comeback and the one that attracts more visitors to your blog. You shouldn't underestimate the power of word of mouth. Your content definitely holds the ace in having success in the advertising called the word of mouth.
And saying that all, still I am finding that ace post that would bring my blog somewhere in the top of the blogging world. Did a lot of posts, but never had that One-Time-Big-Time.
Night lights give light whenever you turn off the main light in the room or it is dark in the room. You use it to at least satisfy your need of security when in the dark at such a low consumption of electricity.
Night lights are like true friends, they are there whenever we are in need, and even not in the dark we can see them. They guide us and secure us. They are the night light that removes our fear in the dark. Whenever we are happy they are going with the flow, but when we are down, they shine so brightly that they indeed shows us the direction back to becoming happy again.
True friends are hard to find, maybe because they are like night lights, we can only appreciate them when all the lights are turned off, when life gets dark and they are the only ones who are brightly shining in our life.
When can we say friends are true? Does time proves the worth of friendship? How can we feel and know if that certain friend will be true to us and will be there in our downs and ups in life? Well that's what we all asks...
But did you think about yourself? Are you a true friend to your friends? Can you say that you are with them in ups and even in downs of their life? Are you ready to be their guide whenever they stumble and get out of track? Are you that Night Light that you always imagined having of, to your friends?
Maybe that is why we can never answer the things we ask most of the time, because in ourselves we cannot assure that we are true to others and our friends in particular. Why bother finding a true friend, if you can be one to others first?
Making money through the internet isn't that of a new buzz. Many takes advantage of it through blogging, because this is the easiest way to get in the trend, though it is kind of hard to really earn from blogging. As easy to say blogging is just that, blogging isn't what you think of. Blogging takes a lot of your time, checking accounts, checking new opportunities for income, daily basis check of your blog, and most of all thinking of a worth reading content for every post you do. Think that's easy? Not at all, but worth your effort. Why? Time comes your blog is worth something already, and you and your blog get to be famous probably. Ain't that worth it? Your blog gets visitors from different places, even from different countries and different people. You can never experience getting to communicate with a lot of people that easy.
And another thing, your blog is the limewire, torrent, etc. of yourself, people get to read and know about what you think and your experiences and who you are through it. You get to share them all you want people to know about you. Let's say making a history of who you are in a different world, the internet.
Stating all of that, wouldn't be blogging fun? Maybe a lot of work, but worth it for me. Most especially when you get to be paid with doing what you want. With just sharing and interacting with people. Isn't that of a good deal?
Probably yes, so what are you waiting for? Try blogging, there is a lot of free sites who can give you space for your blogs. Wordpress, Blogger, Multiply, Blogsome, etc..
10 pesos - "Apolinario Mabini and Andres Bonifacio"
20 pesos - "Manuel L. Quezon"
50 pesos - "Sergio Osmena"
100 pesos - "Manuel A. Roxas"
500 pesos - "Benigno Aquino Jr."
1000 pesos - "Jose Abad Santos, Vicente Lim and Josefa Llanes Escoda"
From an ordinary Filipino's perspective, most probably he will just know the first three heads in the first three divisions of money, the one peso up to 10 pesos. That's what I think, maybe he knows some from the bigger amounts, but the most recognizable are the heads in one peso to 10 pesos.
Why is that?
Why would you put our National hero's head in the smallest peso amount?
Would this mean he is less than the ones in the higher amounts?
Maybe not, simply because of two reasons.
1. Quantity of distribution 2. Quantity of users
Quantity of distribution - The smaller the amount the more they produce it right? To what reason? Because they know that it'll be more in demand than the bigger amounts.
Quantity of users - Compare the number of people who handles bigger amounts than people handling small amounts in a daily basis, what group will be the majority? Of course the people who handles small amounts, right?
In stating the reasons, you can see that in putting the most important heads in smaller amounts of peso is reasonable because by doing so almost all would definitely see and handle it,than money in bigger amounts.
From the start I learned to love food, well who doesn't? lol! Food is such a great feature to learn. Art, technicality, passion, etc. can be seen in food, of course it you look into it and not only mind your hunger.
Before college, I thought of going to culinary school, but the main problem is my parents wouldn't want that for me. And I thought this wouldn't be a more practical career to follow after college than engineering or business career paths. Though I gave up my love for learning how to cook, I still think people who would want to learn that should pursue it. There is a lot of culinary schools here in Manila and abroad. Well, if you can afford it you can study abroad to learn more about different cultures in cooking. And if want to make cooking your career, why don't you go on and enroll in a chef school. And maybe this is the right career for you. Cooking is fun, actually very fun though if you want to learn more and do it properly, it will never hurt to seek a expert's help.
Before college we never thought high school would ever help us in our careers and future jobs. Maybe help us in college but not in the real world in particular.
Why? Simply because all we learn from high school are just basics of each subjects and maybe not that practical for real life experiences. I'm not saying all is non-beneficiary, I'm just saying most probably subjects in our high school days wouldn't help us much after college.
In my experience, that is somewhat true. Well, except the fact that I came from a Technical School, because in a technical school you are thought more about technology and technical stuff than academics. For all I know, technical stuff is more practical knowing than academics. But of course academics should also be learned though. If you try to work in a factory or a industry, most probably they'll hire persons who know much about machinery and technology depending on the job. But if you want a job that is not working with technology in particular maybe academics is suited better. Well, what do you think is more in demand nowadays? In my opinion, technical operators and people with technical skills are more in demand.
No job for you? Try tech schoolsthis might be your way up in the industry.
After watching The Hunting Party, it made me think, how the hell would you convince a person that believes he is right on who you are? In the movie, they(Richard Gere and Terrence Howard) are journalists that would want to score an interview with the most wanted person in Bosnia, whom they call the "fox". He is the behind the mass killings of all Muslims in Bosnia and being protected by Serbs. CIA, NATO, Police, etc. says that their giving effort on finding him but it's just hard to capture him. In their journey for their biggest story, Bosnian and Serbs thought they are CIA agents out to find the "fox".
Though they were furiously declining that they are, people still didn't get it. They still thought they are CIA agents. And that made their lives in danger.
If you were in their scenario, how would you change the person's impression for you, if the more you decline the more they say you are CIA? Well, there's the logic there, if you really are a CIA agent, would you ever say you are? And if ever you're not, you won't say you are too, right? So both ways are completely the same. That's why it is very hard to convince people you are not what they are thinking of. Irritating and very hopeless as well. lol!
Btw, the movie has 4 stars for me over a 5 star rating. Do watch it, its a good film and an entertaining one too.
Watched the bout live at Glorietta 4 cinemas, got there by 8am. There was a lot of seats unoccupied. By 10-1030 the cinema was nearly full, some are already standing.
Before Marquez and Pacquiao's fight, there were under card matches. The first was Farenas(Filipino) and some Mexican guy, he lost by a TKO, because of a accidental low-blow which led to his incapability to continue the bout, then they decided to let the scorecards say who wins which Farenas won. Then another filipino fought a mexican fighter, Gabi the filipino and can't remember again the name of the mexican boxer. Gabi went down hard, he was knocked down thrice I think, one in the first round and two in the 2nd round. He was pretty battered after that. The next bout was David Diaz versus Montano(not sure about that) they were both mexicans. David Diaz won by split decision, though Diaz really dominated the fight, I'm still hands down to Montano for staying that long and taking all the heavy shots Diaz thrown at him. And the last bout before the main event was Luevano(mexican) versus Jandaeng(Thai) it lasted until the last round. Though Jandaeng hit Luevano big time in an early round and Luevano went down, Luevano still got the win. He kept his composure and followed his plan until the fight stops, Jandaeng was hit with a lot of punches though not that hard, the quantity of punches he received made it look like he took a hella powerful punch.
So enough of the under card fights, let's get into the main event. Oh, btw before that, the one who sang the National Anthem of America was so cute, and hot in a way. Though shes just 14, she sang very good and she was very pretty her name is Jasmine Villegas. She is part-Filipino, part-Mexican, and part-American they said.
So let's go to the bout, coming in the fight Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao looks very confident and Juan Manuel "Dinamita" Marquez somehow doesn't show any nervousness. Watching the first round made people anticipate what will happen, because both fighters didn't engage much in the first round. Then at the third round Pacquiao hit Marquez with tremendous power and Marquez fell down, he was counted by the referee but got up quickly after that the fight was evenly matched. After that third round Marquez became aggressive and won the middle rounds, but comes ninth round Pacquiao made him uneasy again and nearly knocked him down again. At this point in time Pacquiao and Marquez was furiously bleeding, both men were fighting exhausted and wounded. But it didn't bother them at all, the bout lasted up to the 12th round. By this time the decision was dependent on the scorecards, though they gave their best shots and used all their stamina and power the last round was still even for me. It is very hard to score the whole fight. Then the announcement came, first was a 115-112 in favor of Marquez, then 115-112 in favor of Pacquiao and the announcer paused for sometime. All were at the edge of their seats, then the announcer said 114-113... Pacquiao started to congratulate Marquez for a great fight and maybe he thought Marquez would win it. After a long pause the announcer says "by a split-decision the NEW..." without hearing the title won, people were already jumping in joy, screaming, applauding, rejoicing with just the word "NEW", it means to celebrate. Pacquiao have won the match, he survived the onslaught he and Marquez made. A match worth of a standing ovation, this match is history in the making. Filipino people triumphant again, against the arch boxing rivals, the Mexicans.
Then stayed for awhile at the cinema to see the interview of Pacquiao, but we were standing already by then. Before Pacquiao's interview something made me laugh, if you were at my place you can see most of the people watching were holding there phones and maybe texting their friends and relatives to say Pacquiao won. lol! SPOILERS... But the funny part didn't stop there, Pacquiao's answers were hilarious. "Business finshed", "its Psychological", etc... lol! You should watch that part, and Pacquiao even laughs at himself. But kudos to you Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao! You raised again our flag, impressive fight, impressive heart, impressive win.
Oh, btw I just want to stress this question. Why do they need to be topless? Isn't it damn cold there? lol!
No Country for Old Men movie, I just finished it a couple of minutes ago. It was a good movie, a typical "not-a-waste-of-money" movie though not that great for me. The movie is revolving around a notorious killer and a hella lot of money that got in the hands of a ordinary person, that made him the target of all that wanted the money.
He got the money by accident, when he was strolling in the desert and found the scene of a deal-gone-bad. Men with guns lie in the ground covered in blood and bullets was scattered all over the place. Then he went on and found the guy who tried to leave with the said money, though he was shot too. That's where all his misfortunes started. And the killer? He's such a devil, kills everyone. Some live, when they win the head-or-tails game, but most are killed.
I wanted to share this movie, because does this really happen in real life? Killing with no reason at all. Seeing the movie made me think that in US such persons really live. Just like the university gun shootings, killing numerous students. What the hell is in their mind that makes them kill the innocent?
What will you do when the killer is in front of you holding a gun, and having a conversation with you? As the movie points out, most people would say "You don't need to this". As if that would change the killer's mind, at that moment on I think I'm sweating big time, thinking when I'm going to die and how, "now? a little later? now? how about now? please, i don't want to die. Is he going to shoot me now? please no...." that runs through the victims head at the actual time he is with the killer, torture...
Been late in following American Idol this season, though I watched the first night where the top 12 sang as the 12 finalist of the said contest. Btw, didn't get to start it so I just happen to watch from David Cook to the last singer.
David Cook, the rocker this season, just like Chris Daughtry last season. Where he lasted until they became the last 3 idols in the contest. Well, given that I am more inclined to the rock genre my vote is for him. And also, I envy David Archuleta with such a great voice. Though I somewhat feel he is in the feminine side? lol. Just a feeling though. But still envy him with his God given voice, damn he can sing well.
Alright enough of who I like, the bottom three in the results night that happened a couple of minutes ago was; David Hernandez, Kristy Lee Cook(which was hot in her outfit.. lol!), and Syesha Mercado. Kristy Lee Cook for me looked great, though Simon still didn't like her song, well me too. David Hernandez was somehow okay, but that's it no moving power to wow audience at all with his performance. Syesha? Though playing safe, she sang better than Kristy and had more power somehow with the audience than David.
David was the first eliminated. While watching him, I noticed him holding back his tears, well that's acceptable because before that night you were living your dream then a day after you are shaken by someone and that dream suddenly stopped. Very sad, but that's how American Idol goes, you leave early if you don't give something special for people to vote you. Feel sorry for David Hernandez, remembered his interview from the performance night. He was a student and a part-time worker, and he exclaimed that he didn't want to go back to that position. As much as he don't want to, but maybe he would be back at that state for a couple of times more. Too bad for him.
Days before the Pacquiao-Marquez bout, in Mandalay Bay on HBO Pay-Per-View for the WBC super featherweight belt.
So who do you think will win?
For me, of course my choice is somehow bias because I am a Filipino, though I really think Pacquiao would win this bout. With a knockdown or a split-decision. I just feel that Pacquiao is in his best position yet and at the peak of his career just to be beaten by another famous boxer which is Juan Manuel Marquez.
Would this bout end with a knockdown or a split-decision?
With Pacquiao's reputation of a knockdown artist in the boxing world, maybe and I think he would try his best to knock Marquez out. And maybe this is his first option, because in the first place this would be the best way to assure his win and in making a huge point that he is the best boxer there is in his class as of now. Well, if not decided by a knockdown, I feel Pacquiao would have a tremendous bout to fight, it would be tiring just to attempt knocking him down and as well as defend himself from a great boxer-Juan Manuel Marquez-throwing huge punches too.
Either ways, this would definitely be talked about and would be a definite history in the making. Not much of anticipation is being done, but I feel the bout would be as exciting as Pacquiao's last fights. Pound-for-pound boxing will be shown again, and non-stop action. Brace yourself for a candidate for the Best Boxing Match this year.
Pacquiao-Marquez 2... Who will win? Who has the will to win? Let's all find out this weekend.
My vote is for Pacquiao obviously, though Marquez is a good fighter too.
Is the saying "money makes the world go round" really true? Do you believe that?
Well, that is somehow correct, if you see life as that. However, we have different perspectives in life, that is why all of us differ on how the world go round, right?
Some would say love makes the world go round, but that is kind of an ideology for me. Love can occur between two people or more, but not to an extent that the whole population loves each other right? Somehow, somewhere there is always hate. Love is such a great word to live by, however, with such great beauty, great work should be done also. Love is only going to work if each one of us lives with no obstacles between others and our relationships.
What an ideal world...
So money and love can't really explain why people react and live in such ways. For me, I have a different belief and perspective in looking in life. We as humans have limits, though we reach it we will not stop until we get what we want. Contrary to that there are people too, who can stop when they reach their limit.
So what's my point? We people don't need money or love to live life, but we need to be contented. A person only stops from what he is doing, if he is contented though if he is not, he will continue his work until he is. Contentment is something that we all want to have, however, humans have infinite quantities of wants. So being contented is very hard for us. That is why being contented is our main inspiration or the one making us live life, reach our objectives, and achieve. For being contented with your life, is having all you want for you.
So maybe by stating all of that, I can say contentment makes the world go round? lol! Did I made a point somehow? Thanks for wasting time reading this post! Hope you come back next time and read some more of my posts.
The Phone I used to take these pictures. N73. Somehow turned out great, for me.. :)

Sorry, That's the best I can do. Really like to take pictures, and though I like to have a better camera than my phone, that's kind of expensive for a hobby. lol! Hope you liked some of it. More pictures in my next post.
Ok! As to what I am saying in my previous post about odds in basketball, I still can't stop betting. Addicted big time, even though losing big time too. Bummer!
I was down P1750, so I gambled and bet for Indiana which is playing with Houston. Come to think of it, Houston has a streak of 15 wins so "law of averages", they would lose sometime this week or next week. That is why I chose Indiana, though it is at Houston homecourt, the odds was big - +10 to Indiana - I tried my luck... but luck wasn't enough! I lost, my bet was P2000, so now I am down P3750. Getting desperate already, thinking of betting P5000 tomorrow, its a win or die tomorrow!
Houston is playing Dallas tomorrow, and in Dallas. However, Dirk Nowitzki isn't playing, though Houston is +6 in odds. What do you think? Should I go with Dallas or Houston? Maybe Houston is kind of fatigued because of their game today and maybe their streak would stop tomorrow, but losing isn't enough. Dallas should make sure that their deficit with Houston is more than 6, so I can win.
Damn, so confused! Here's another matchup, Indiana @ San Antonio - +13.5Indiana -13.5San Antonio...
Is someone there lucky enough to choose me a team that would definitely win? Please! Help.. If I lose, I'll be down by P8750... That's too big for my wallet. Lol!
Or just wish me luck! please...
So for you guys who never tried odds yet, don't ever try it! If you know you can't take good control of yourself, coz once you get addicted its hard to stop, unless you really don't have money already.
Politics is a competition for power, its main focus is to stay in power or be in power.
Issues now, heightened people to fight the government, many are inclined to impeaching the president.
Of what reason?
-Truth is being neglected -Corruption(there always will be) -Moral issues -etc...
True, that the president is somewhat corrupt. True, that her administration has moral issues. True, that the government is manipulating and covering the truth somehow.
Reasons why all the issues isn't ok for me:
Bringing back the past, from our very first government Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo became President but cheating on elections became an issue. Former Pres. Marcos became power greedy and corrupted so much from our country. Then he was forced to go down because of People Power. Cory Aquino took the place for presidency, but did she really made the Philippines better? Don't really know what happened in her term, but I'm sure in one thing, she had as much issues and opposition as our current president have today. Then FVR was voted, he did great but still opposition tried to bring him down, but did not quite worked. After him, Erap became our president who really didn't do anything, literally. He just gambled and had fun in his term. Estimated work time of Erap: 85% nothing, 15% work. He became the topics of jokes, comedy men, and the like. Then after sometime, he was impeached by another People Power. Then our current president took place in power. Since then, issues never stopped on attacking her. But after Erap's term, another elections came. Which GMA and FPJ fought for Presidency, and GMA won by such a small deficit. Of course, attacks of cheating in the elections was there. But it never took down the president.
If ever she goes down from power, who will take place? Many who opposed the impeachment or the going down of the president asks that. Well, they are right, I can never think of someone who would be as perfect as the opposition would like. They are like fighting for a government that is so perfect and so ideal, but can we really achieve that?
Our current President's term has only 1.5 years - 2 years left, can't we just wait for it to finish?
Let me ask you this, do you think she made such a horrible job as a president of the Philippines? Didn't we progress in her reign?
Yes, I am inclined to showing the truth, but should we always shout "impeach the president" in pursuing what is the truth?
If we are so inclined to a corrupt-free government, shouldn't we just remove almost all officials there? You would say it is such a drastic and immature move to do so, and to do that in a slow manner we should remove first the highest in power. Did you ever thought that we did that many a couple of times already? Did it work? I think not, corruption is very well abundant still.
Why would you remove the administration that somehow did great for our country's sake?
There are a lot of issues surrounding her administration, but looking at a different perspective all administrations have their own weak points that opposition targets. I only view news occasionally, though I always hear that the opposition always disagree to each and every move the administration make. That was since I was in gradeschool up to now-college student- It hits me that opposition, does whatever they can just to bring down the current administration. Well, it isn't invisible to us, right? That is the truth behind politics, every politician for himself. They'll do anything just to be in power. They oppose, so if they'll triumph, they'll be next. Or they will support so they can be promoted and/or after the president's term, they will be next in power.
If politicians are like that, would I be wrong if I say they are just using those issues to be in power? Are they using us for their own intentions?
For me, they are somewhat manipulating us to fight the administration because by themselves they wouldn't do much. They try to influence people to oppose the government so if ever the president will be impeached, all who supports her would definitely go down with her and opposition would be the ones who will take those places.
Yes, politics is immoral, but that's how it goes. To survive in this lifetime, you should be more practical than moral, for me...
Well if you are a long blogger already this one's very common to you and the major sites that provide this opportunity for bloggers. But to newbies, paid to blog is self-explanatory of course-you create a post provided that you achieve the objectives that the advertiser wants for the particular post then they pay you for that-quite a good deal right?
Here is one website that provides that opportunity for us bloggers, Snapbomb, it is a new paid to blog site that you can really take advantage of. It gives a good pay and lots of opportunities.
Review companies, advertise products, create buzz with Snapbomb.
However, so much good things about this site, advertisers for this site is less than a long running paid per post site because as I have said this site is just starting. Less advertisers less opportunities, but I assure you after a couple of months or so this site would be as great as those major paid per post sites. So why wait, if you can take advantage of the deal now?
By the title itself my post is already self explanatory. Right?
Just thought of this a couple minutes ago, the fact that there are winners, there should be something to be won or someone who you'll compete with.
As the quote says, "A man is no island". Very true, we can never live with just ourselves. We are made to socialize and be with different people. A life with no one but yourself is like death in your face. Well, maybe worst, look at the dead they are prayed for or they are somehow being talked to by their loved ones. But you who live alone, has no one to talk to.
Which is worst?
We humans have senses to interact with life, most especially with other humans. Would you ever speak a language if you'll never speak to someone?
Somewhat, my title means like that, but the obvious meaning isn't likely that. However, the concept is somehow the same, there can never be winners without competition or losers. For every winner he/she has a competitor, and for every winner there is a loser and vice-versa.
The world is with so much competition in a daily basis, life is about competitions. We compete with other people to live and achieve more than them. We compete, which we win and lose accordingly. Winning isn't all there is to competition, but the fact that we competed and give it our best shot.
As to many would say, we fall but we should stand back again. Its kind of like that, but gave it some twist. lol!
Another thing with competitions, it brings the best within us all.
Expounding on that thought, with no competition there will be no to little progress within our societies. Who would strive better if no one would do better than our current state? The fact that people are competing with each other, they pin-point the flaws of the other therefore reaching a better outcome than before.
Isn't this a new concept of how we can explain life?
This would do great in explaining life in my perspective, well that is my opinion. :)
Many says that money should be earned hard, because when it comes easy it would also vanish easily. Well for me that is really true, money hard earned is the most worth it pay u can get.
However, would you pass on an easy money gig? Of course not!
One easy income generator is gambling, even though risks are high, when winning income is high also and rather easy in a way. Yes, it is bad, but practically speaking it is fun and can even help you in a way. Just don't get addicted to it.
Casino is the home of gambling, this is where riches are earned and lost. But people never get bored of casinos, people come back always for more. Even casinos are very far from their homes, they still have the time to go to casinos.
Today, not only casinos are getting many visitors but online casinos too. Why would you spend on gas if you can experience casinos in your homes?
Its as good as going to casinos, well minus the people, but of course excitement and money is still there. For a fresh new way to relax, try online casino rather than going to your usual casino place. Try visiting it, maybe the thrill is here too.
Tagged again and again. I have seen nothing like this before:the tagging, being tagged, getting awards and issuing out awards. I can truly say only in the Philippines or only the Filipinos can think of this tagging game. I received three tags today. The 3rd tag has some issues since the blog names have no links. The two other tags are basically the same.I'll just combine the two lists to simplify matters.
To all those being tagged, bear with it. This tagging will add to your technorati authority and maybe increase your SEO plus you get to know more bloggers! You, the tagged one, has the option to reject or play along. It's really up to you. No Pressure.
MP3 players, ipods, MP4, etc.. boomed in this generation, even cellphones are being created to be more musically inclined now.
So how do we use it? Of course, we use earphones and most want it loud, right?
Well of course our main purpose for using these instruments is to hear music conveniently anywhere, anytime. Because that is how society explains it, but have you ever thought of different uses it gives?
Music players definitely evolved, to have a better sound detail and compact design. Music players becomes smaller and smaller in size but bigger on sound detail, features, etc.
Because of its popularity, it became somewhat a obligation to have one today. But dealing with people using music players while in public made me think, they really don't care about their surroundings. Music player became their instrument of relaxation and to run away from the world without really leaving. lol! It can be a way to be just with yourself, even though you are with people.
And you can also use it whenever you don't want to speak to people, of course they wouldn't speak to you when you wouldn't listen to them, right? Even though that is kind of rude, it wouldn't really look like that much, because you'll look busy. It can be your barrier to such events.
So that's it, I just feel music players can become a social barrier and a time for yourself too.
